  • We call for socialism, which we define as a political and economic structure that is oriented by and for the benefits of the entire society, as opposed to any specific part of it.
  • We call for socialization of the entire economy and the transfer of ownership of the means of production to those who work.
  • Nationalize the Fortune 500. The only way that the problems of ecological suicide, national and international healthcare, poverty and starvation, and wars across the globe can be solved is if the ownership of the Fortune 500 and large industry are brought under the democratic control and ownership of working people.
  • We call for a radical restructuring of the economy, to include the entire financial sector, to serve the needs of the People, not profit of the Capitalists.
  • We call for a Thriving Wage, as determined by local conditions. A Living Wage is no longer enough to provide workers and families enough to both provide necessities and have enough to meet higher order needs.
  • We call for a Federal Job Guarantee, through robust civilian National Service, and the cancellation of all public contracts to the Private Sector.
  • We call for replacement of all corporate governance with democratically-elected community and worker cooperatives.
  • We call for the repeal of all “Right to Work” and any other anti-union laws at the Federal, State or local level, and fully support the efforts of all workers to join unions, collectively bargain, and receive the full value of their labor for their work.
  • We call for immediate and radical systemic action to address the climate crisis. We need a global ecosocialist reconstruction.
  • We call for the US to adopt a major role in controlling global climate change.
  • We call for the adoption of climate restoration projects across the United States, and support for those efforts world-wide.
  • We call for Nationalization of the energy sector and a rapid shift to renewable energy creation, even if it comes at the expense of economic prosperity for capitalist actors.

  • We call for the replacement of the outdated, market-oriented Medicare/Medicaid and Social Security programs with a new democratically-administered and public-funded National Pension System (NPS).
  • When used in tandem with the NHS, will allow those with illness, temporary or permanent disabilities, those who have lost work due to layoffs or career transition, and those who are elderly to maintain access to quality health care and continue to have enough money to live comfortably.
  • The NPS will be a universal benefit, offered to all Americans over the age of 18 and can be expanded to offer families of dependent children money to help raise their kids as well.
  • All Americans would be eligible to receive a NPS account which would give them access to money equal to a thriving wage at full time, if they were employed.
  • To discourage hoarding and encourage spending, there will be no saving permitted in the NPS: While the money is there to use as needed, all money not used at the end of a term (whether it be at the end of a temporary period of joblessness, or at the end of some set amount of time) will be zeroed out and the fund will be replenished to the full amount at the beginning of the next term.
